I’m a few days late, but for October Yoga Blast week 2, days 6-12, here you are!! Got some nice stretches in, especially in bow pose, which is my favourite of these. My dolphin plank, of all things, needs some work. I thought I had planks down, but seeing the picture of myself, I definitely need to work on my form.
I’m supposed to reflect on the things I love about myself this week, so here goes: I like my eyes and I like that I keep trying things even though I mess up a lot and I like my compassion and my willingness to understand other people and to learn about things and learn from my mistakes, I like the things I do and that I’m getting to be brave enough to do them (i.e. rock climbing, volunteering where I don’t know anyone, acro yoga, etc.), I like that I take care of my body, I like that I have recovered well from my eating disorder and that I am dealing with my anxiety and depression in healthy ways, and I like that I want to make a real, positive impact on the world.
If you guys want, feel free to reply to this with things you love about yourself or put them in my ask :) I think it’s good to look at yourself from a different, more positive light, even if it’s only on occasion.
